Had a rolla coaster week. But today we played kickball and I think it was the best pday I've ever had just for that. Literally why is it so fun !! Bought a sick messi jersey at the cachina too

Had a gringa trio in belen (not sure if that's even legal/safe) with my 2 hijas which was so fun. I felt awful.for hna Ellis because hna de hoyos and I just chatted (not very quietly) for a while till we finally fell asleep. That's just what I forced her to do when she was my comp...I'd just talk and talk and talk until she finally talked back. But the things I had to share were too good to keep to myself! Also locked us out of the house. And forgot the phone chip. Classic hermana barker. 

I think my eyes are sunburnt. They hurt so bad. I heard something about how light colored eyed people are more susceptible to sun ? Idek. But it's possible. Green eyed girl problems.

Our friend mia got baptized. It was the most chaotic baptism for so.many reasons and I have had some pretty chaotic baptisms. But in the end it all worked out and she was happy and I was happy and her husband was happy and the bishop was happy ( ithink ) and the elders were mad because the ward missionary leader made them sing random karaoke I am a child of god. Best. Musical. Number. Ever. #eldercoaqueraneedstodirestthemotab

We did a cutie hermanas breakfast and bought all the stuff at the mercado eight before and it was like 60 soles (like 15 bucks) to feed all the hermanas and it was clutch and delish!!!

Run and tell that !! That the lord is REAL and he loves and he forgives and he understands. 
We went to parachico for a baptism. And i saw Allison. My beautiful friend who has changed so so much. Thinking about where she was 11 months ago and where she is now is like a MIRACLE. shes so strong. She has become. She has allowed god to truly mold her into the woman she was always meant to be.
And carmen. My Peruvian mom who we found street contacting. So active, leading with a calling. And just smiling. Through it all. She hugged me tight. "Hija mía". 
And martin. My best friend that truly never ceases to surprise me. Glowing with the spirit,  new confidence and strength in his testimony. Ward mission leader. 
That. Is. It.
That is what keeps me running up those hills to tell the glorious news. 


Met a guy with 2 pet rats in his backpack. Sofia and Dory. They are good climbers. Stay tuned for flicks of that next week.

This week was an absolute whirlwind. Like i feel like pday was yesterday but last tuesday was like at least a month ago. 6.11 Better than disneyland

I am so bad at writing emails which is so lame I'm sorry I really don't do Peru justicia.  This week was like disneyland for me. We got to go to the temple.  I love God's house. He really has such good interior design style. And holy moly being able to participate in an endowment (a special like learning ordinance) IN SPANISH I was giddy. I'm a dork I know.  BUT anyways I was very happy. Speaking of happy things. Valentina got baptized this week. My heart was marshmellowy, she bore her testimony and said she couldn't be more grateful for the example we as missionaries have given her. Best compliment in the world. We asked her how she felt after and she Goes "normal". Ay que te pasa but her brother wants to learn more now because of her :)) My poor comp was DYING last week so we did an emergency division and she went to independencia with the hermana leader who threw up in district council...and all the elders were coughing...so they all were giving each ot...

I'm writing this email in my casa en PERU!!! LOCO. I still can't really believe I'm here haha!  I don't have much to say, but we have a great ffa program lined up. *name that film* But seriously my mind is un poco fried and so it's difícil to even remember what happened since a week ago I was in Ohio.  But to start I need to tell you how gringo i feel. I want to speak Spanish so BAD with the ward and especially my cutie compañera hma Bautista. Ella es de la Republica Dominicana!!!! My heart!!! She's so fun and cool and walks into traffic like it's nothing. And I am oblivious to traffic, am a head taller than everyone, and stand around like a dunce when someone asks me a question.
