peace out Arequipa tacna im headed to ya
And that's a wrap on distrito umacollo. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard for a game of signs.
This week was honestly one of the hardest best weeks ever. I think it's like the scriptures in 2 nefi tho. Like you can never know the good without the bad. And we started off so. So. Good.
Remember Fiorella? She filled out a reference in Facebook about a month ago, looking for something she could find the truth in. She's amazing, we talked about the word of wisdom for like .2 seconds our first lesson, and when we actually taught it in full she goes "oh ya hermanas, ive been already obeying that since that first day". Oh okay fiorella so are you the most prepared person or WHAT. anyways her little 8 year old made the mistake of raising her hand when we asked who wanted to get baptized hehe (she hoped we didn't see because she's a punk like that) but I genuinely have never seen a little kid happier on their baptism. It was kinda chaos, a Brazilian grandma giving a sobbing speech and the heater not working but like what would a baptism in Perú look like with warm water? Not sure.
The literal next day we asked if she would have a noche de hogar with one of our friends who was doubting about baptism and invited him to be baptized. He said yes, because who could say no to someone with that much spirit?
I've eaten so much panettone. It's like this. Idek like bread sorta cake ish thing with fruit snacks in it and it is lowkey fuego but when they feed you it every.single.timeee I just start getting a little worried I'm going to turn into a paneton or something.
So we have transfers and im going back to my roots TACNA and I'm going to be with hermana garzon my Columbian gal and she's crazy and holy crap I'm terrified I couldn't sleep last night but it's OK! I know God's got it all figured out and I'm so excited to see what hes got in store.
I love ya. Im praying for ya. Youre my miracles this week :) send me yours !!
