6.5 crash course in eternity

We knocked the door of a lady who had been taught by missionaries before and she said we could come back and help her clean her house. So we came and she had so much STUFF. and all this random food and she tried to give us yellow water and when she wasn't looking we poured it down the sink. But the candy she gave us wasn't too bad, if I'm still here next week we'll know it wasn't dangerous.

I have realized I'm actually not a very patient person. And I thought I was (not), or at least I could HAVE patience. And I just UGH I want people to just figure it out, like literally look at what God has in store for them. It's like a claw machine of blessings are waiting and they have unlimited turns. And it's so hard to win the stuffed animal that you want but not really cuz all you have to do is put in your two cents (ha see what I did there?) And then you can play forever and you'll win the stuffed animal eventually cuz God literally has rigged it in your favor. I think that's what a mission does to you, changes you to see with these glasses of eternity.
I saw a lot of joy this week. We bought bread and bread is so cheap and delicious I love it. But anyways I was complaining to the bakery girl because we buy bread from them weekly or more and I said "no one wanted us today." And she Goes "us either, high five!" And like haha funny BUT I SHOULDVE TOLD HER NO CUZ GOD WANTS HER.

God always wants His kids. And we prayed to Him a bunch this week cuz man some people's kids do not want to listen/follow through/show up. But then sometimes they figure it out and remember God wants his kids in His house. We had 6 friends +a lil son show up to church and im not kidding my heart was like puffer coat puffy with joy. They just kept showing up. And they sang the hymns and the ward members helped them. And they woke up early and they didn't eat breakfast so they could be there on time and they brought their sons and their moms and their nice white tshirt.

So that was a little glimpse of heaven, one of the parts in the crash course of eternity that the mission has become for me.

It's like everything you do as a missionary actually MATTERS. Everything else, like high school and vacations and PRs and ASB, it mattered but not in the crash course. Nothing can prepare you for eternity better than a mission.

We played sports today which I loved and as usual went too try hard so now I'm tired and can't remember this week but I promise it was good.

My brother complained my emails are way boring compared to the ones elders send so sorry, I'll try to do something funny next week so I have comicaler emails. But hey everyone laughs at my jokes in the zone, so I must be pretty hilarious IRL (that or they've been on a mission too.long and lost their humor)

Had a cracked personal study and realized if we all just knew our potential the lord has for us we'd be like the most INCREDIBLE people ever. So remember who you come from. You've got a past and a future to tell.

Love you all, but jesus loves you more
