3.4 Three is my new favorite number:)

3 days. 3 times. 3 fechas...3 is my number this week. This week has been miracle after miracle. We asked 3 people this week to be baptized and all said yes!! It was incredible! The first is Allison. She's changed so much in the 3 weeks I've known her. We called her on Tuesday, and asked her how she felt about getting baptized and she said YES. Basically told us that THIS is what she needs in her life. She wants it more than anything to help her change her life. MY HEAARTTTT so happy for her:)) We also put Mafer on date. She's the 15year old daughter of this cute girl who loves the church..but can't get baptized until she marries her basically spouse.:( 3 times Mafer's mom (sylvia) asked her if she was SURE she really wanted to get baptized because Sylvia wanted her to wait till she could get baptized with her. But Mafer 3 times said yes I'm sure mom. I love her. It reminds me that as much as we love others, We still need to grow our OWN testimony. No one else can build our faith, we gotta want it! The third person is Sarai, she's the girlfriend of a member, and he gave her the ultimatum..get baptized and married or adios. But the thing is she's really fighting to understand and become converted for herself so that's been really cool to watch. It's amazing the changes Christ has made in these people. His 3 days in the tomb have been on my mind. Sometimes we wait forever for something that we never see, like the prophets who died before they saw Christ's resurrection. But some people got to see him after 3 days. Our time will come. For everyone !! We had exchanges this week and instead of going to another area with my sister training leader, I stayed here and was in charge of navigating us around and teaching our lessons. I was terrifieddddd but it ended up being super awesome. I was able to speak really well on my own and didn't get us lost so that was a win. I really want to stay in the Parachico area because we literally are gonna have 4 baptisms in the next month and probably set 2 or 3 more...the work is so good!! So fingers crossed this transfer I'll stay. I love the gossip I hear in the ward too much to leave (such a flex when you can understand enough Spanish to know the tea) Had some awesome noche de hogar this week and made a cake with mamita for pday last week (which eduardo her 14year old ate like half of...stupid edu.) The young single adults (jas) had a convention this week so we got to watch them practice their dance one day..it was grease themed and our recent convert was ripping it up (so funny cuz he gave us a whole speech on how much he hates dancing) Tried to teach Hermana Bautista what blankets and sheets are in English...not the best pronunciation..also we were walking this family home last night from an activity and this cutie little boy was holding my hand Caleb I love him and he talked the whole. Way. Home. Didn't understand basically anything because he was trying to do addition and they were very much not numbers coming out of his mouth. He told me about a fruit and I said "WHAT?!" and he goes "que significa what? Como...what the f?!" I was like NOPE DON'T SAY THAT. Kids these days. We wasted like 3 soles to get a Hello kitty prize from a grabber machine. It was a dollar well spent (the exchange rate is nice) We are bowling rn and I have 3 turns left to do something crazy and win...not likely Had a lesson with a crazy catholic and then one with a girl who's mom basically planned our play date lesson for us...brought us cookies and juice and introduced us to her 23 year old daughter and left us to create "amistad". Wack Loving this place and these people but my heart Def is missing my family and friends. Lucky for me, I know that I just have this year and half to make the most of, and then I get to be with them for eternity:) blessings. love you all!! and jesus loves you too:)) 《3 h e r m a n a B a r k e r
