2.4 If I Had a Wish than It would Be...a happy happy birthday to max from meeee

I'm sitting in this adorable little Cafe in Yellow Springs Ohio. The weather that used to be 60° is now like 13. These little moms are talking about the antique shop they want to visit after this, and the best DVD romcoms they own. So yeah, kinda feels like a hallmark.

Definitely not like that every day, not even close ha! But even the days that every door we knocked didn't speak Spanish, and when all of our lessons canceled...it's okay. Cuz the Lord needs His love spread around in Ohio!!

Since it was Valentines this week....Roses are red violets are blue, the chocolate covered strawberries and cake and crumbl cookies and cupcakes we had for valentines day were delicious too. It was weird walking around Wright state on valentines day seeing people like...being in love...it was so odd. Like what even holiday is this?!? #stopthepda

We had some awesome lessons this week
And only had to drop one friend cuz of his love confession about my pretty ojitos. Lol. We invited anthony to be baptized!!! So he has a soft date of march 16:)) hes so cool and has been trying so hard to get closer to god. He used to vape like 70 times a day or somerhing crazy like that he said but this last week hes vaped only 2x. Total. For the whole week! So so proud of him. He worked extra this week so he could come to church on subday. Speaking of. Sunday was AMAZING. we got 4 people to church, and each of the elders in the branch had at least 4 people too (theres three sets of missionaries in our spanish branch its loco) The entire room was so full the elders had to leave 3x to get more chairs cuz people just kept showing up. Even when i got here a month ago, there was still a smaller amount of people, but the branch used to be legit 10 members. So to know where theyve come from is such a miracle.

The bummer thing tho is that no one showed up for the baile this week. The branch president and his wife planned this super cute valentines dance, but it was the night it dumped snow so no prettt much no one showed up...EXCEPT for a less active fanily that came to church on sunday:)) cuz i invited the daughter ! Her names karen and shes a freshman and i love her. Hopefully its just the beginning of the changes in this branch...i want it to be big enough to meet in the chapel... too bad ill be in peru by then :/ i fly out march 7! Got my flight plans and im stoked out of my mind. Plus the love of my life mtc companion miss hermana stanley got her visa too so the Emma's are taking on peru!!!! Speaking of visas...My comp sister Oler got her visa to Bolivia!!! So she's flying out at transfers too. Best case scenario ever because now she's happy to be around all the time🤘. She hit her halfway mark the other day so we burned a dress in a can and it wss very anticlimactic.

We had Zona conference this week which was very fun. I got to sing in a musical number and my comp played the violin and it was very cool. We had a general authority there: Elder Haney of the 70 and he def got me fired up to work hard. They fed us chic fil a and sugar cookies and I was a happy little camper.

Fútbol this week was so fun. These two couples who are from an indigenous tribe in Ecuador came to play in their fuzzy pajama pants and hiking boots. And they were AWESOME. it was so funny because one of the girls just stood in the goal and yelled at the other one the whole time, just like "MARIA!!!! SI MARIA!!! NOO MARIA! PARE MARIA RAPIDO MARIA MARIA!" So by the end we allll knew who maria was hehe. They came to church and UGH I wish I would've gotten a Pic with them because the goalie yeller wore this cool Ecuadorian tribal paint to church..she's a queen.

Solid week all in all. Dumping pictures now because I know yall just skip to the bottom to rlook at those lol. I'll send last week's flicks too cuz I guess they didn't send.

Anyways. Love you all. I'm grateful for the knowledge of eternal families this week. Knowing that my family who I love and miss so much are mine forever is pretty lucky. We had some lessons this week with people who had some really hard experiences losing family members, and knowing that no mátter what happens, they'll be okay because we have the Savior in our lives is so lucky. Give your family everything, give them your time (50 points for your house if you email me back with where that quotes from)

I love the savior and I love YOU!!

xoxoxo hermana bark🩷
