hola todos. this very evening I will officially be reprogrammed to only speak Espanol, so I will in fact be communiticating like a toddler from now on. Another week down! And I'm actually starting to get sad realizing this week is my last week at the mtc :( I got my reassignment because my Visa hasn't come through...I'm headed back to my homeland of Ohio XD. The elders all think it's funny that I'm going to Ohio because it doesn't exist (to everyone who doesn't follow meme culture...ask a youngin and you'll get it) I have no winter clothes so my fingers and toes are crossed hoping for a magical Visa miracle. Anywyas. Other this week things!! I learned a lot of Spanish, and TONS of cool little spiritual experiences. I had a bunch of prayers answered this week during personal study. Seriously, GO READ some scriptures. I never appreciated how awesome it is to have the words of God to read all the time. So just read some for me this week and tell me about it. :)
If you didn't know when my birthday was, it is this week. (It's not actually but all the elders decided one morning to come up to us at breakfast and screamsing happy birthday. And the whole cafeteria joined it. And all our friends were like HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERMANA BARKER. So yeah.)
We have been absolutely demolishing everyone at volleyball. There is some elder here who is 5 2 and kept calling me short because he spiked on me ONE TIME. grrrrr. But it's been awesome to play sports.
There were a million funny things so I'll just describe the pictures.
-we went to the temple and it was so awesome i love the temple
-this is my cousin. elder barker. we are so directly related we are twins (we are 10th cousins)
-stanley has gotten like a milion bloody noses and so drastic times call for drastic measures
we all wore hma felters clothes one day and also hma barnard has upgraded to crutches
-one of our sisters in our branch had an actual birthday and we feasted upon crumbl
-it was mega sunny and i jumped around in the snow and we ate some suckers dipped in snow and elder bowman got his visa
-random there is no picture related but this guy is playing how to train your dragon on the piano
-we met joy d jones!!! she used to be the general primary president and she is sosososo awesome!

random non photo items to share. elder Orr is now one of the girls so he tells us secretas (not really elders I promise he's not a double agent if any of you are reading this) and we trade him our rings for info. he calls them regalos (gifts)
i have a pet duck (s/o elder checketts for gifting it to me ad also this random elder who dug another one out of the snow)
i had a delishous meal of cup noodles today cuz we missed lunch i was sleeping
thats all.
